I joined Ecas in Oct 2014 as Craft group assistant, on Sylvia William’s retirement in July 2015 I took over leading Craft 2. I studied jewellery design and metalwork, at Duncan of Jordanstone and worked as a designer maker for 2 years after graduating. I had always been interested in the therapeutic nature of art which led me to work with art groups for adults with learning disabilities, I then was employed to lead these groups in 2013 during my training in art psychotherapy. I completed my masters in art psychotherapy at Queen Margaret University in 2014 and since then have practiced with varied client groups, currently working within NHS Lothian and Freedom from Torture in Glasgow.
In my free time I enjoy visiting art galleries, attending life drawing sessions and watching movies. I love travelling and learning about other cultures and take any opportunity I get to dance!
